SiOnyx IR Illuminators: The SIONYX IR Illuminator Kit includes all the necessary tools to optimise the use and performance of the Aurora family of cameras. The key component is the 940nm, 5W LED infrared illuminator. This IR torch is tuned specifically for the Aurora sensor for the perfect balance of colour and brightness to identify targets out to 150 metres, and to recognise targets well beyond.
SiOnyx IR Illuminators – 940 IR Illuminator
One Picatinny Rail and one Picatinny Rail Mount are included in the kit to give the end-user flexibility and increased utilisation.
Initially, SiOnyx created a unique Picatinny rail that threaded into the bottom of the Aurora using a ¼-20mm screw.
Standard 1913 Picatinny rails are compatible with the second rail, which is a torch mount.
Now that the custom pic rail is mounted, you may connect the illuminator straight to the Aurora.
The illuminator can also be fastened to any weapon or helmet that has standard 1913 Picatinny rails.
