US ARMY SELECTS FIBROTEX FOR CAMOUFLAGE SYSTEM

Fibrotex has won the US Army contract to supply its Next-Generation Ultra-Light Camouflage Netting System (ULCANS).   ULCANS, is a multispectral camouflage system that demonstrated the ability to defeat all sensors known to be operating in the battlefield.  The system masks counter radar, night vision &  thermal devices.  This will replace the woodland and desert camouflage variants manufactured  in the 1990s  and the new system will be available  in light and dark woodland, snow and alpine, desert, and urban variants.  The new camouflage will have reversible designs; allowing a different pattern and capability on each side.
