Sometimes a simple idea is the best idea. The new Wild Things Power Stretch Shorts are a simple solution to warmth without bulk. Power Stretch fabric is a superb wicking choice with excellent insulation. Snug fitting (but not a compression short) so they can be worn under your BDU. Cut to just above the knee the Power Stretch Shorts provide core body warmth without adding any bulk below the knee. Light with very little bulk, easy to stow, but oh so warm. Should be a core part of every cold weather kit.
