THE SENSYS COMCENTR2™ TACTICAL HEADSET SYSTEM offers sensory enhancing performance for the operational warfighter by integrating advanced electronics and software into a sleek, comfortable and user-focused design. Combining technological advancements in tactical communication and hearing systems, the headset improves command, control and communication. This ensures dismounted close combat warfighters are able to detect vital battlefield sounds in a noise cluttered environment while enabling mission-critical communication. Active Noise Reduction (ANR) technology mitigates low frequency noise generated by vehicle platforms, while 360° situational awareness and 3D sound localization enhance engagement with the environment.

KEY FEATURES

ACTIVE NOISE REDUCTION (ANR) – Reduces distracting high volume, low frequency noise to
protect hearing, prevent fatigue and improve communication. ANR goes beyond simple noise limiting
and active hearing protection offered by currently fielded headsets.

360° SITUATIONAL AWARENESS – Controlled by upgradable software, the circumaural headset
offers full coverage provided by 2 forward facing and 2 rear facing microphones, enabling true
directional sound and improved command and control.

3D SPATIAL COMMUNICATIONS – Enables users to hear vital communications as they would in
the real world. Sophisticated 3D audio processing allows for natural feeling speech as if someone was
standing to the user’s left or right, reducing cognitive burden and improving intelligibility.

HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE (HID) – Enables quick switching between radios and volume
adjustment without being distracted from the mission. Dongle system attaches to the HID to allow for
a wide range of communications devices to be used.

ELECTRONICS IN EARCUPS – Allows full audio enhancement even when the wearer dons only the
headset without the HID as a standalone device.
